User Experience Is More Important Than Anything

Indeed – in 2019 it is so much more important to focus on how we design our products and services to match that overall challenge our customers have.

There has never been more information publicly available than there is in 2019. Almost every single person knows how to use Google.

Almost every single person also understands that there are more than one service provider, manufacturer, restaurant, consumer product, etc.

So how do we choose the things we like, if there is so much information available? Well – essentially based on the way we feel.

It does not really matter how much features or functionalities a certain gimmick is providing – if the usability and overall experience (=feeling) leaves you hoping for more.

Especially if you feel your needs are not being answered.

Indeed – in 2019 it is so much more important to focus on how we design our products and services to match that overall challenge our customers have.

For example – we learned in a study* done with Funnel that managing online media was suffering from two major bottlenecks:

  1. Finding the file you wanted was not easy.
  2. Managing and collaborating with the files was not easy.

So in the end, even if we would make the most advanced cloud-based media asset management platform – without focusing and solving those two issues we would almost certainly leave our clients unsatisfied. And they would most likely choose another, better solution.

This is why user experience is so important.
