AI-as-a-service

The future does not hold a scenario where we will wake up one day and AI is ever-present. Instead, this will be a gradual process, little-by-little.

I have a prediction, or should I say AI has a prediction (hehe) that very soon in the near future we will have buttons next to most features which says:

Now, this prediction is not groundbreaking, nor is it very uncommon. A much more important thing would be to ask: “How prepared are we to embrace existing and upcoming AI services?

I remember when I was first introduced to things like Slack, Blockchain, platform economy, drones, chatbots, etc. Not all of these are AI-driven (if any), but they certainly are smart. The future does not hold a scenario where we will wake up one day and AI is ever-present. Instead, this will be a gradual process, little-by-little.

You will start to notice little things, like the “AI analysis” button, or smart assistants, which take liberties to show you better routes, better schedules, more efficient task managements, tips & tricks, and so on. One day you will notice that one thing is almost completely automated and AI-driven (maybe a car, pun intended). And you will have a chance to choose between completely automated, AI-managed services and those which are still largely operated by humans.

I predict that most people will prefer an AI-driven, error-free and cost effective solution over costly human services.

The free market laws of supply & demand, combined with human incentives will either prove me right or prove me wrong.

And we are not there yet. Obviously the best future is the one where we can work with machines and AI, instead of competing with them.

Media Pocket, our completely browser-based media asset management platform is developed with AI in mind. We are already partnering with AI companies and opening our hood for developers to take full advantage of existing and upcoming AI solutions.

We believe this is not only the right way, it’s the only way. Want to know more about how we are utilising AI and other cool stuff? Join our newsletter below.
